Dozens of MO libraries get funding for rural broadband

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Over three dozen Missouri libraries have been awarded money to help with rural broadband. More than $870,000 from the Missouri State Library will go to 39 libraries.

The hope is that public libraries will then be able to help close the connectivity gap when it comes to telehealth and virtual learning during the pandemic.

One of the libraries in the KXCV/KRNW listening area to receive money was the Gentry County Library.
